After visiting Agra, Jaipur, Judaipur, we are in Udaipur, the “Venice of the East”, the “Most Romantic City of India”. The city where Maharajahs live even now.

When we arrived to Udaipur’s Taj Lake Palace Hotel, the former Maharajah’s palace, we mentioned that we have our 25th wedding anniversary.

Hotel management upgraded us to the suite, lake view, facing two sides, the Royal Palace and other beautiful palaces.

They gave us the  chocolate, special Indian “wedding cake”, and other goodies. Amazing!!!

Even my husband, who does not care about the luxury is speechless. Thanks to the Rs. to $ rate, I got spa massage and facial (2hr) for $135, which is less than I paid in the USA.

Food is amazing and surroundings are like in haven.
ALL services are royal. We stayed at the reasonably priced hotels in Rajasthan, however it is nice to be spoiled once in a while.
